Creative Intent is the Valley's newest and most innovative dance program!
CI was created to bridge the gap from "studio dance" to the collegiate and professional world of dance. This program is designed for advance dancers ages freshman to seniors in high school. Creative Intent is curated with the most relevant and knowledgeable directors, faculty and professionals in the industry. Each dancer will be individually mentored and guided to help them reach their personal goals whether it is making a high school or college pom or dance team or working in the commercial and industry dance world our directors will help dancers every step of the way. All CI dancers will be carefully hand picked through an extensive audition process. CI dancers will be like minded in discipline , focus and commitment to the team. While CI will have the opportunity to compete in a few competitions this will not be the main focus and rehearsal for competition will never replace class time as their rehearsal hour will be built into their weekly schedule.
CI Dancers will have a condensed however intense training schedule and curriculum. Their training will have a high focus on technique, style and artistry at an elite level. They will be exposed to a wide variety of styles including an unique opportunity to train in student choreography which will help them be confident in their ability to become teachers themselves in the future. The schedule will be made up of three weekdays leaving weekends free.
Information on Auditions for Season III will be available soon. Please check back often or be sure to follow us on Instagram @creativeintentdance.
Incorporated in the CI schedule is a weekly master class where local and highly sought after choreographers will be invited to work with and train CI dancers on a very personal level. These master classes will be included in their monthly tuition rate so families can expect no hidden fees. CI directors are working professionals and they will be extending opportunities to CI dancers to train in assisting and demonstrating outside the studio exposing dancers to more opportunities in the dance world.
